Deleting your Circle Back account
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the game, and it takes effect immediately. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need a reason.
From inside the game
Sign in at play.circlebackgame.app, open Settings, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm once. There is no second chance after that, and support cannot restore it.
If you cannot sign in
Email our support address from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is yours before we do anything, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Every game on it — choices, scenes, stats, relationships and summaries.
- Your daily play meter and your entitlement record.
What we keep, and why
Payment records held by Stripe. We are required to retain transaction records for tax and accounting purposes, and they are kept for no other reason. This is the same exception set out in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
Your subscription
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account cancels it at the same time — you will not be billed again. If that cancellation fails for any reason, nothing is deleted and the game tells you so, rather than leaving you paying for an account you can no longer reach.
Playing without an account
Guest progress never reaches our servers. It lives in your browser’s local storage, and clearing your browser data for this site removes it completely.
